This cool climate Shiraz displays spicy perfumed fruit and smart oak while the Viognier component provides freshness and longevity. Well balanced with a generous nose and lighter structure this wine will appeal to many. A good contrast to our wines from hotter regions.

Vibrant red with brick tints.
Primary & Secondary Fruit Characters.
Lavender spice with mulberry fruit and showing menthol highlights. Hints of chalk and mint. Shows plums on standing.
Oak.
Truffle, shortbread and char. Cedar on the palate.
Palate.
Tight, lean, plummy fruit with good weight, fine grained tannins and a fresh drying finish.
Food Matching...
Consume with roasted lamb cutlets, pork fillet with apple, cloves & cinnamon or freshly prepared corned beef.
