Our first olive oil is an award winning "Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil" of the very highest quality. Blended from the varieties Picual and Frantoio and produced on South Australia's Limestone Coast this oil is a medium to robust style that has balanced pungency and mild bitterness. Picual is a Spanish variety and is widely planted there. It is vigorous, early ripening and benefits from the cooler conditions found on our Limestone Coast. Frantoio is from Tuscany and is famous for the flavour and quality of its oil. The olives produced by this variety are small and ripen late producing highly flavoured oils showing fresh grass and hay.
