An excellent example of Riesling from the Eden Valley. Remaining fresh, aromatic and full of flavour this 05 vintage wine is nicely complexed by the first onset of bottle age. A very attractive and approachable wine that will lead many down the well trodden path to aged Riesling mania. Only limited stocks available.

Appearance.
Pale green.
Primary & Secondary Fruit Characters.
Lime, mineral, grapefruit and lemon butter (onset of bottle age). Hints of lemonade, apple custard, cloves and blossom.
Palate.
Intense lime and lemon on the attack, very zesty. Good weight and acid on the mid palate. Some bottle age is apparent which is appropriate in a wine of this age. Lingering lime sours, blossom and a touch of spice on the tail. Some flavour rebound also! Very nice wine.
Food Matching...
Superb with Sashimi. Alternatively consume with pan fried pork fillet served with caramelised apple, fresh thyme leaf and oven roasted crispy baby potatoes.
Cellaring Potential...
Very good aging potential for those that enjoy aged Riesling. Good drinking now.
